Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce:
In July, Cumberland County Business Council unveiled its new name--the Fayetteville-- Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce. The chamber will place more emphasis on attracting and serving local businesses. Six years ago, the chamber merged with the Fayetteville Area Economic Development Corp. and the Downtown Development Corp. The idea was to create one agency responsible for business and economic development. Currently, the chamber has about 1,200 members.
